Hello.

Today I helped my Aunt move instead of regular school, by alphabetizing a library of movies, making a bed, plus I got to watch House and Lie To Me.
The funny thing thing about making the bed was, that we had to lift the entire mattress up so we could put the bed skirt on :-).
The lesson that I learned today is that it feels better to help somebody when you're not getting something in return :-]). (that is supposed to be a mustache.)

Question of the day: How many houses have you moved through?

  1. I have moved through MANY houses, apartments and condos - partly because I have lived MANY years, but more precisely because I really, really like to move around. When I read your "Question of the Day" I actually had to think for a while about all my moves. The magic number is 25 but perhaps I missed some! Are you surprised by that number? Missouri, Colorado, Indiana, and Arkansas are the states I've called home. My favorite? Colorado! It was fabulous living in the mountains. I still look forward to returning most winters to ski. One town I lived in was Central City which in its heyday during the mining bonanza was called "The Richest Square Mile on Earth."

  3. I have lived in quite a few houses over the years. I was born in the City of York, North Yorkshire, England and moved house 4 times as a child. I then lived in 2 more areas of York as an adult and then moved first to Leeds in West Yorkshire, and then to Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England. Altogether I have lived in 12 different houses. I never appreciated how beautiful and historic the City of York is until I moved from there. Many tourists come from all over the world to visit it.

  4. Wow, I am not sure I can count but I think as a child I lived in 7 and then as an adult I lived in Ankeny, Des Moines, St. Paul, Seattle, Ohio,so far that is ten as an adult as each city I mentioned I lived in two separate places, here in Oregon I have moved 3 times, bringing my grand total to about 20, though I may have missed one or two. How many can you claim?
