Today we are starting a unit on Romeo and Juliet, which I personally think is going to be really fun!
What we did today is we acted out from act one scene one to act one scene three!!!!
It was really fun. I also got to play a new game called Timez Attack!!!!!
All over all it was fun day.
Question of the day: What are your personal thoughts on Romeo and Juliet?
I think Romeo and Juliet is a classic not only because of the writer, WIlliam Shakespeare, but because it speaks to the forbidden or unrequited love each of us has at one time experienced or likely will experience. Poor Romeo sulks because the fair Rosaline has not returned his affections. Little does he know, that just beyond the proverbial horizon lies his true love Juliet. How many of us have been so short sighted that we cannot appreciate that unforeseen future.
